Hi,

It’s pretty crazy in the UK right now due to all the snow over the past few days, we don’t actually get that much snow here and despite the UK’s rich resources we don’t seem to prepare for the snow and then we deal with it badly when it arrives. The country generally comes to standstill when the snow hits.

This is what the roads looked like near me, not so bad but so still enough to cause problems.

For many people the change in the weather will mean a loss of earnings, lots people can’t get out to work and those that do make it out to work will often find they have no customers.

How to submit your site to Ask

Here’s a short guide on how to submit your website to the Ask search engine, although it’s not as popular as google or yahoo is does have a considerable user base and so you should submit your website or miss out on this extra traffic.

1) The first thing you need to do is create an xml sitemap for you website, instructions can be found here.

2) Enter the submission code below into your web browser, changing to match your domain name details and sitemap location.

http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=http%3A//www.yoursite.com/yourmap.xml

Once completed you should see something like this:
